Then reinstall all of your mods to your new Origin CORE SPORE Data folder, and run the game once, before installing anything else. Then, uninstall your entire Steam set as instructed, and reinstall ONLY Core Spore from ORIGIN. Try switching to Origin Spore via this method:, so you can get the game 100% unpatched. Windows 10 and Spore don't always seem to mix well, so your best move might be to roll back to your previous Operating System.ĮDIT: Wait.you did a clean install of Windows 10? Re-Installed core spore- and still won't run, even with only itself on my system.
UPDATE #1: First update- Uninstalled GA, C&C, and Core Spore. I am currently uninstalling Spore C&C, Spore, and Spore GA and re-installing them- in high hopes of it working. I have done a "view integrity of cache" and even ran the regular spore, but nothing seems to work properly. I have run the "runme" (does the same thing as above) and "sporeapp" (which doesn't do anything) as administrator, but it still doesn't do anything fortunate to help this situation. It goes into a window that doesn't fit on my screen, and my mouse is all wide, and it suddenly blacks out again and goes back to the original monitor size and says "Spore had encountered an error." and asks me to close it.
Overall what happens is that I launch spore through steam. I do not use a VM (Virtual Machine) yet I am unable to buy one, and I wouldn't be sure where the "real" ones were if I even were to download one. Unable to launch Spore on Windows 10 through Steam- as said in the title above.
